There is a car that is much closer than it appears in the mirror.
When I leave the gym in the morning I have to hit the center turn lane before I can merge into the proper lane.
It never fails if there is traffic. People see me. I have my signal on. I am trying to merge into the lane but someone always speeds up to prevent me entering.
This happens from time to time when I travel between buildings.
Why are people so concerned with someone properly merging?
It is like they are trying to win a prize or something.
This annoys me.
If you are a merge preventing person can you tell me why?
One other traffic issue… when did people stop yielding to fire and ambulances?
Oh boy. That’s rough. I don’t get it either. Why can’t other drivers be gracious instead of greedy? This is why merging gives me anxiety. I hope your next trip to the gym is smoother!

Oh do I feel this slice today! Apparently, everyone on the highway was trying to win this “special” prize. Here’s to hoping those people work from home tomorrow 🙂

Your slice actually had me giggling a bit. I lived in Chicago for 7 years. I moved there from Iowa. In Iowa we always pull over for ambulances, let people in, and if we speed it’s only 5 over. Going to Chicago I learned it’s a dog eat dog world out there and you have to cut people off to survive. Anyway– I would let almost anyone into my lane now… but if I got into Chicago driving mode WATCH OUT 🙂

I can understand your problem! I do not understand why or how we got to this place where people just don’t know driving rules! I feel your pain…
